Focusing on Cosmetic dentistry has long been a passion of the Golsen's:

We offer a warm, comfortable "homey" waiting room, but when you enter the dental operatory, you will get a high-tech feel with hardwood floors, marble countertops, flat panel screens, lasers and intra-oral video cameras. All patients have the opportunity to use our I-glasses, otherwise known as virtual reality glasses.

Mike Golsen, D.M.D., M.B.A.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Dr. Mike Golsen received a bachelors degree from Emory University in 1982. He then attended the Medical College of Georgia and achieved his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry in 1986. Dr. Mike later received his MBA From Kennesaw University in 1999.

To stay current with the latest and greatest in the field of dentistry, Dr. Mike has taken over 600 hours of Dental Continuing Education. He has attended courses at the Pankey Institute, the Academy of General Dentistry (implant training), University of Pacific (Pac-Live Advanced Cosmetic training) and Digital Dental Solutions. Dr. Mike is also certified in Invisalign orthodontics.

Dr. Mike is a member of many organizations, such as the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Georgia Dental Association, Northern District Dental Society, Hinman Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantology, Crown Council, and Beta Gamma Sigma. Dr. Mike is a faculty member for Northside Hospital in Atlanta, and is an International Air Abrasion Instructor. He is the Co-Director of the general practice residency at the Medical College of Georgia, and was also a staff member in the college’s Department of Restorative Dentistry.

Jill M. Golsen, D.M.D.

Dr. Jill was born in Florida, and she attended the University of Georgia. She has attended the hornbrook group advanced occlusion course. She is on the board of the Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry also she is a sustained member of the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.

Dr. Jill remains up-to-date with the fast-changing field of dentistry by attending many continuing education courses. She completed training with the Georgia Dental Association (implant training), Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies (occlusion training), University of Pacific (PAC-Live Advanced training in cosmetics), Center for Esthetic Excellence, and the Hornbrook Group (advanced esthetics).

Dr. Jill is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, Hinman Dental Society, and Northern District Dental Society.

She was a part-time faculty member for Perimeter College, and has instructed dental hygiene students in clinical areas. Dr. Jill is also an instructor for Kreativ Technology – Air Abrasion Systems.

Rosie Panich, D.M.D.

Originally from South Boston, VA, Dr. Panich’s education and interests have taken her on a short tour of the Southeast. She and her husband call the beautiful town of Alpharetta their home where they would like to soon start a family. Dr. Panich began working with Golsen Family Dentistry in the summer of 2000, where she has learned the benefits of functional esthetics.

During her associateship, Dr. Panich has had the unique opportunity to continue her education at prestigious courses all over the nation that focus on cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Panich finds true enjoyment out of restoring our patients’ teeth to their natural form and function. Here at GFD, she strives to deliver customized personal care with comprehensive dental treatment.

Dr. Panich received her B.A. in Biology from the University of Virginia in 1996, and her D.M.D. from the University of Kentucky in 2000. She has attended courses at the Center for Esthetic Excellence for posterior composites and smile makeovers and The Hornbrook Group for Advanced Posterior Esthetic Program.
